Let's talk about the word natural... Now for all intensive purposes we will just say that this blog is mere opinion and for entertainment purposes only- right! Basically, the mass manufacturers of our wonderful country get to make general statements on labels when indeed it is clearly a stretch! For example , most of the products you buy at your local whole foods and natural markets are in fact derived from natural products. The question is, what "processes have they since gone through before making it into your unsuspecting mouth? Ah hah! You didn't ask them that. All you requested was a "natural" product. How were you supposed to know that once that apple ,for example, got smashed up into applesause that a chemical preservative was put into it to maintain its freshness, for your safety, of course. Or how were you to know that the oranges in that all-natural juice product you purchased for a thousand dollars underwent similar processes that the unnatural counterparts did called hemogenization, pastuerization and then they had the nerve to add chemically replicated vitamin c because it was all burned in the process... are you still with me because I can certainly slow down. Yes, that's right it goes something like this: "NATURAL" oranges are selected and then all blended and strained to make juice then the mixture is BLEACHED and BURNED to kill all pathogens (for your safety, of course) and then because the substance is left with no color, vitamins or good flavor, they just add all that in at the end! Please feel free to look up these processes I tell you no lies. BEWARE of the word natural- it really isn't saying much except, " expect to pay more for me at the checkout". My remedy- use a juicer- it's the ONLY way to get natural fresh juice! Otherwise stick to water (oh boy, we will get to that in another blog...)
